Have fun making some vegan, dairy free cheese, coconut yoghurt and coconut kefir as well as homemade chutneys! Eat some yummy cheeses and homemade bread!
 
In this practical vegan cheese making and tasting workshop you will learn about different plant based, dairy free cheese making techniques and the easy to find ingredients used to produce them. We use Macadamia nuts and cashews as a base with almond milk so your cheese will have a great taste we promise!
 
You will have the chance to make your own samples of several vegan cheeses including Mozzarella, Halloumi, Mascarpone, Ricotta, Feta and Parmesan to take home with you with full instructions and recipes to try out. We will also make coconut yoghurt and coconut kefir for you to take home to start your own live, probiotic cultures at home.
 
In the second part of the workshop we will sample a range of dairy free plant based vegan cheeses along with homemade jams, pickles and chutneys, sauerkrauts and kimchis and a selection of freshly baked homemade sourdough breads.
 

What else you should know

 
This workshop is great fun and is a practical introduction to vegan cheese making and chutney making. We will make be making cheeses, chutneys, coconut yoghurt & kefir & sampling yummy homemade bread! We run all our workshops in our kitchen and dining room where we have a large dining room table for you to sit at and a fully equipped kitchen for cooking in. This workshop is very hands on. You will be making the cheeses and preparing them for the cheese tasting session.

Homemade cheese tasting session with vegan cheeses, chutneys, pickles and jams and homemade sourdough breads -sweet & savoury 
Tea, herbal teas, cafetière coffee, homemade hot chocolate and infused water will be available throughout the workshop. 
All cheese making equipment will be provided for you to use at the workshop as well as full notes & recipes to take home. 
 

What to bring with you

 
Comfy clothes and shoes.
Bag to take cheese samples and yoghurts home with you.
Empty jam jars for samples if you have any. Otherwise we have temporary containers for you to take everything home with you.
