In this practical cheese making and tasting workshop you will learn about different cheese making techniques and ingredients used to produce them. You will have the chance to make your own samples of several cheeses including mozzarella, ricotta, halloumi, goat’s cheese, queso blanco, labneh and paneer to take home with you.
We also run vegan, dairy free cheese making and tasting workshops or we can run a workshop with a mixture of dairy and vegan cheeses if you wish.
Once you have finished preparing your cheeses, in the second part of the workshop we will sit down for a cheese tasting session with a range of homemade soft and hard cheeses with a selection of homemade sourdough breads and homemade pickles, jams and chutneys. You will be able to sample different combinations and see what you love the best! Cheese lovers heaven!
You will be given your samples of fresh cheese to finish making at home as well as some samples of chutneys, jams and cheeses along with your detailed notes to make cheese and the recipes for the chutneys, jams and homemade breads. A truly unforgettable delicious, cheesy experience!

This workshop is suitable for children from the age of 10 upwards when accompanied by a responsible adult over 18 years old.
